Treatment शुरू होने से पहले doctor कुछ tests करते हैं:

Ovulation Tracking / Egg Growth Monitoring
Cycle के Day 2–3 से महिला के follicles (eggs) के growth को ultrasound से monitor किया जाता है।
Doctor दो तरह से IUI plan करते हैं:
A. Natural Cycle IUI
Egg naturally grow होने देते हैं।
B. Stimulated Cycle IUI
Small dose of fertility medicines दी जाती हैं ताकि:

Egg quality improve हो

1–2 eggs develop हों
-
Pregnancy chance बढ़े
(Clomiphene, Letrozole या Mild injections)
Trigger Injection (Ovulation Trigger)
जब egg 18–20 mm का हो जाता है, doctor trigger injection (HCG) देते हैं।
इससे egg 36 hours में release होता है
इसी time पर IUI schedule किया जाता है
Sperm Collection & Preparation
IUI वाले दिन husband sperm देता है।
Lab में sperm को wash करके:

Best sperm को filter किया जाता है

Weak / dead sperm remove किए जाते हैं
Is process को Sperm Washing कहते हैं।
Ready sperm को एक small tube में collect किया जाता है।
IUI Procedure (2–5 minutes, painless)

Woman को normal bed पर lie-down कराया जाता है

Doctor एक thin catheter से washed sperm को uterus के अंदर डाल देते हैं
-
कोई pain नहीं होता, बस हल्का सा pressure महसूस होता है
पूरा procedure 2–5 min में हो जाता है
Short Rest & Discharge

IUI के बाद 10–15 minutes rest कराया जाता है

Woman उसी दिन घर जा सकती है

Medicines After IUI
Doctor कुछ medicines देते हैं:

Progesterone support

Pregnancy-support tablets
ये uterus को pregnancy के लिए supportive बनाती हैं।
Pregnancy Test
IUI के 14 days बाद blood test (β-hCG) से pregnancy confirm की जाती है।

Age, sperm quality, egg quality और uterus health के अनुसार differ करता है
